How Did We Get Started?

Derby City Emergency Equipment was started after I wanted to put Quality Over Quantity in my builds. While doing upfitting before, I was not allowed to preform to the fullest of my abilities in the builds I was putting out. Although I believe that "time is money," I don't think that should also apply when it comes to the safety of our customers out in the field. The only option I felt was logical, to be able to put out builds correctly, was to start my own business. I've dealt with emergency equipment for 5+ years and was finally ready to make a real deal business, therefore Derby City Emergency Equipment (DCEE) was founded.

Do We Do Installs?

YES!

We can do installs of any kind. Anything from full Smart System builds, all the way down to something as simple as aftermarket headlights. Any electrical work for a vehicle, we can do.

Can We Install Customer Supplied Equipment?

Short Answer : Yes

It depends on the items at hand if I will install them or not. If the items are of name brand such as Whelen, Federal Signal, Feniex, etc. I will gladly install them. With that said, I prefer to only install new items if they are customer supplied. I am not opposed to used items if they are still a name brand and are still in useable condition. By that I mean no wire cut at the light(bar), broken lenses or housings, or anything of that nature.
